My design journey

I’ve always been drawn to making things – from childhood art projects to learning new creative skills just for the joy of it. My passion for design began with music; discovering Peter Saville and Vaughan Oliver’s album covers opened the door to graphic design and set me on the path I’m still on today.

I studied a BTEC Diploma in Art & Design before specialising in graphic design at university, graduating with First Class Honours. My background in physical art shaped the way I approach image‑making and experimentation, and during this time my work was selected for several exhibitions, including D&AD New Blood and Kemistry Gallery.

After graduating, competition wins led to internships at Esquire and The Sunday Times Magazine, and soon after I landed my first studio role designing artwork for digital music releases. Those early years gave me strong foundations in artworking, layout and creative problem‑solving – skills that grew as I moved into in‑house roles, where I’ve found my stride as a brand guardian. I enjoy getting to know a brand deeply, shaping how it communicates across every channel, and working fast, adaptively and collaboratively to deliver clear, consistent, multi‑channel design.
